How to Get a Better Business Logo for Less Money (in 3 Minutes or Less)

A few months ago, I was looking for a fast, easy (and preferably, cheap) way to come up with a new business logo for a website I was creating.

In my past experience with starting new real estate websites and business ventures, I used to shell out hundreds of dollars to freelance designers on websites like Elance (now Upwork) or 99Designs to take care of this task. A few hundred bucks isn’t a bad price for this kind of work, and I was always happy with the end product from these third party providers, but I still felt like the process left something to be desired in terms of speed (turnaround time) and price.

It goes without saying that a good logo is important. This is the first impression you’re giving to the world about who you are and what your company does. If you’re not willing to invest the time and money into portraying a well-thought-out, tastefully designed image of your company, there is no better way to immediately discredit your brand than by using a logo that looks like garbage. Generally speaking, this isn’t an area where you want to “cheap out”.

Knowing the value of a good logo, yet the improvements I wanted to see in the process – I was pretty happy when I discovered the SquareSpace Logoiu Creator Tool.

Prior to this discovery, I had never used SquareSpace for anything in the past, but as you can see from the video above, the process of creating a new logo is so fast, so cheap and SO EASY – it really is an important resource for any type of startup company to know about, especially ones that are on a shoestring budget.

If I were starting over today with the creation and/or design of my website, business cards, letter head or anything else, I would definitely want to know about this resource. For a whopping ten bucks (or even FREE in some cases), you can get a simple, high quality, legitimate logo in a matter of seconds.

If you’re looking for a quick, easy and inexpensive solution for your first (or next) logo, give this option a try. I think you’ll like it!
