What problem does your product/service solve?

PlaceMe simplifies the real estate market for millennials who are looking for a comfortable, flexible, all-inclusive solution. In other words, we offer convenience by eliminating the hassles of moving-in to a different city.

What are you most excited about right now?

I am very excited about the growth of the co-living sector. The trend is being adopted worldwide and bigger players are understanding that the millennial market is not the same as the previous generation. Shared furnished rentals is the way to go for young adults to enter big cities around the world.

What’s next for you?

PlaceMe is currently raising the next round of funding intended to expand to other markets.

What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?

Besides solving a housing problem, I am extremely passionate about supporting educational opportunities for children from minority backgrounds. I am a board member of Breakthrough Greater Boston, a non-profit after-school program that works with 6th-11th graders. The program provides the students with educational support and mentorship with the intent of decreasing the dropout rate and increasing their competitiveness. Overall, we work hard to mentor the students to make sure that the students stay and remain in college.
