Geek Estate Newsletter #24 – A Creative Approach to Brand Loyalty & Doubling Down on Places

The purpose of Geek Estate’s mastermind community is two fold:

  1. Curate the most incredible and diverse membership of real estate innovators, creatives, doers, and creators in the world.
  2. Make our members wildly successful in their careers building real estate companies.

In this week’s member newsletter (#24), I shared a creative approach to developing brand loyalty as well as Trulia doubling down on places (some of my thoughts on the “local expert opportunity” are here).

In my “non-industry reads” section, one article included was New Luxury Hotel Will Be 200 Miles Up and $792,000 a Night by Justin Bachman in Bloomberg Pursuits. Another was Uber Acquires Bikeshare Startup JUMP, which I believe we’ll look back on as a turning point in Uber’s shift to becoming a full urban mobility platform.
