Generating Awareness for Upcoming Real Estate Product Launches

Those of you who frequent Product Hunt may have seen their “upcoming products” section…

The product enables “makers” to create landing pages for unlaunched products, and those interested in their value proposition can “subscribe” to be notified when the product is ready.

My question for the founders (building new products), is whether you’d find value in a real estate specific version of upcoming products? For agents and brokers: would you have any interest in a simple way to be notified when products (you’ve opted in to) launch?

[Update: I’m now realizing a MLS/geography filter would be important to this in a real estate context. Give agents a way to subscribe for notifications when a product their friends in other markets use has expanded to their MLS.]

I think there’s value in “What’s newly available in my MLS/market” especially. PH is really powerful at getting awareness for new products, but it’s mostly meaningful because of community engagement and curation. A channel on PH could work, but it’s all about agent / broker engagement to make the picks meaningful.

I think this would be a great idea!
