Google Helpouts Launches

I wrote about Google Helpouts on my personal blog awhile ago was it was first announced. This is the future of search, for complex search topics…such as real estate.

Helpouts launched officially today (official Google Blog).

How much would you pay to talk via video chat with someone looking for “homes for sale in San Diego”, or “relocating to Austin”?

You can go play around with searching here, or here is a result page for an expert on home inspections.

You shouldn’t ignore this (how can you, it’s Google?).

  • I think this has HUGE potential. But I can only imagine how many people right now are thinking…..how can I provide this and pay someone $8/hour to sit in front of a computer and ask questions on my behalf?

I wonder if they will ever roll it out to the real estate or mortgage industry?

    • I think Z/T/R will roll this out to the re / mortgage industry. Who does it first? That is the question 🙂
