Meet the Real Estate Tech Entrepreneur: Peyman Aleagha
In our latest Meet the Real Estate Tech Entrepreneur interview, we’re speaking with Peyman Aleagha of Website Box. I’ve known Peyman since my early business development days at Zillow, when I was trying to get data from the Zillow API into RealtySoft’s offering (Peyman’s prior endeavor which has been brought under Website Box).
Here’s a bit more about him, from his own mouth…
1) What do you do?
I am the founder and CEO of WebsiteBox. We provide real estate professionals with a do-it-all website, IDX and CRM solution for a one-time-fee of $99.
2) Why do you do what you do?
When we began to look at technology for real estate professionals we were shocked at what agents and brokers were paying. In other industries, for the same tools, people were paying a fraction of what Realtors were paying. Real estate websites, IDX, CRM, and website hosting were all being sold at a LARGE premium. So we decided to change all that. The result was: The $99 Do-It-All Website.
3) What are you most excited about right now?
It’s a great time to be in the real estate tech space. There is a lot of consolidation happening between MLSs and technology vendors. Also Realtors and consumers in general are more receptive to technology.
4) What’s next for you?
Our mission is to provide Realtors with “ALL” the tech tools they need at an affordable price under one roof. We just released our “Craigslist Ad Builder” app which helps Realtors publish professional listing ads on Craigslist. We have many other apps in the pipeline and are actively partnering up with other technology vendors for the tools that we don’t have or don’t plan on developing in house.
5) What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?
I am passionate about helping young entrepreneurs. There is a lot of great talent out there and a little help will guide them to the path to success.
Thanks to Peyman for sharing his motivations and current projects. If you’re interested in connecting with Peyman further, you can find him on Oh Hey World and LinkedIn.
We’ll be featuring other real estate tech entrepreneurs in the coming weeks. If you are an entrepreneur in the real estate vertical (past or present), and want to be profiled, please sign up for an OHW account and add “real estate tech entrepreneurs” as an interest on your profile — then shoot me an email (drew at ohheyworld).

Posted at 12:47h, 01 OctoberI was a believer in RealtySoft – until my recent interactions with their support desk. It appears that no one in their technical department is anywhere close to being technical. So I would be very careful about joining their services – in case something does happen… you will not get any real support from them.
For example, their PROIDX solution is supposed to look like an integrated solution (subdomain pointing back to their servers) that is to be indexed… it was being indexed fine for a little bit – then they made changes in Jan. 2013 to bring on WebSite Box, which knocked down the PROIDX indexing solution. They refuse to fix the issues, and keep blaming their customers – or saying “we’re not responsible for how Google indexes”… so what they’re really saying (after I told them what the problem is) that they don’t know how to fix it – and they actually gave me an ultimatum: either continue to pay us for nothing or go away.
You’ve been warned.
