In our latest Meet the Real Estate Tech Entrepreneur interview, we’re speaking with Ron Bovino of NorthReal.

Here’s a bit more about him, from his own mouth…

1) What do you do?

I am the CEO & co­founder of NorthReal. We’re reshaping how real estate gets done with software tools for real estate professionals & consumers.

2) Why do you do what you do?

We’re focused on providing exciting new ways for consumers & Realtors® to experience the real estate transaction with apps that are simple to use. There is such a high demand for real estate tools that can instantly add value for apartment-goers, home buyers, sellers and agents alike. It was a natural fit for us given our knowledge & expertise in this space.

3) What are you most excited about right now?

The increase in technology adoption rates amongst industry professionals. It’s really growing up quick and we’re excited to have any opportunity to help drive the industry forward in a positive way.

4) What’s next for you?

We’re getting ready to release our next version of PropClip, a property bookmarking tool that lets consumers and agents collaborate and share property listings found on many of the real estate agent websites and portals on the net today. On deck we are also expanding features of Real.io, which we consider to be the industry’s first social dashboard for real estate professionals. We also have other apps baking in the lab as we speak!

5) What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?

I’m actively involved in alumni career speaking events at the high school and college level. I enjoy donating my time to assist our next generation of professionals in shaping who they are and how they can make a difference on their career path.
