#retechchat Transcript – Transparency of Performance Statistics

The topic of last night’s #retechchat was Transparency of Performance Statistics. Another fantastic discussion. I have to say, this week’s discussion was a bit of a lay-up considering everyone (and their mother) has an opinion about the latest Redfin Scouting Report release (and some don’t). You have to give Redfin team credit for being open and transparent about the work they’ve done since their release to shore up some of the issues that were uncovered. Don’t shoot the messenger (me) on this one, but these performance statistics are out there. For good. Glenn is right — if brokers don’t do it themselves, the media sites such as Zillow (my former employer) will.

Here is the text transcript that I saved for those who want to read through the entire discussion: Download it HERE (best to use TextEdit on a Mac from what I hear).

Alternatively, you can view the discussion on TwapperKeeper under the #retechchat hashtag.

Lastly, if you’d like to vote for next week’s topic – that can be done here. Hope to see you next week!
