Are You Speaking, or Speaking Up?
Opening the doors for the masses to speak, giving everyone who cares to have one a microphone–it has led to an explosion in people speaking. And most people, most of the time, are saying virtually nothing. Nothing worth reading, nothing worth repeating, certainly nothing worth remembering.
They’re speaking, not speaking up.
This is a topic I’ve written about before. 100% agreed.
Are you simply speaking? Or actually speaking up?

Would you have any examples of simply speaking vs. speaking up?
Sometimes I have to listen to a lot of speaking before I hear something that is worth remembering. I find this to be true on Webinars. They might last an hour, but I am happy to come away with just 1 or 2 things I can use to improve my business. For 58 minutes I listen too speaking where they might not have much to say, but there are hopefully 1 or 2 minutes where they say something really valuable to me.

If webinars are 97% crap, why do you listen? Seems the trade-off isn’t worth it. That’s why I rarely, if ever, listen to webinars. Virtually none of them provide much value (from my experience).

Posted at 11:29h, 05 JuneI don’t listen to many. Only when top agents are being interviewed.
I get the recorded version so I can listen to it when it makes the most sense in my schedule and so I can pause it and go back to work but listen to more later.
The one or two ideas I might get from Top Agents make them worth it to me.
