Jack Miller, Michael McClure, and Stefan Swanepoel announced their newest venture today: T3 Experts.

The basic premise is a membership site for real estate professionals with expert technology advice & strategy on demand.

Technology education is certainly an interesting space. There are many expert advice products out there, across a broad range of knowledge bases and industries. For the tech startup world, Clarity.fm (which I use) is a great way to find the advice you need at a moment’s notice. Yet it’s an extremely crowded space.

In their video (seen here), Jack says the goal is to make YOU the expert. I happen to think the better route would be to have T3 Experts BE YOUR expert.

Where do I see the real opportunity?

Your part time real estate CTO on demand. Give brokers or agents the ability to pay per month to have a CTO as part of their team, and to make the right strategic decisions for them and coordinate with any vendors needed to execute on those decisions. Think the Zirtual model, but for technology people in the real estate industry.

Michael, Stefan, and Jack clearly have the proven expertise to help agents and brokers with their technology needs – but I’m not sure the membership model for knowledge and advice will make the most sense long term.

Regardless, congrats to Stefan, Jack, and Michael! Stoked to see where this project goes in the future.
