Speaking of search and mobile (& Sam’s response), Estately has gone mobile.

I agree with Joel — if you’re in the industry, you should download the app so as to make sure you know what the competition is doing in the mobile arena.

The app is the 1st major search app designed specifically for iOS7 (though probably not the last). Not many brokers can compete with this technology, without spending some major, major bucks with a development (& design) shop that has mobile engineering chops.

Is Estately’s iOS effort enough to take major share away from Redfin, Zillow, Trulia, and Realtor.com?

I’m not sure.

Regardless of the answer to that question, congrats to Galen and team for putting out a great app.

PS: the screen shot included, which is the opening screen when I looked at the “map” view — is too “busy”. I still believe personalization is the next wave of search…
