[Note from editor: The “Mastermind Showcase” highlights companies and news from members of the GEM. Today’s showcase: Peer Reputation.]

Peer Reputation uses anonymous post-settlement reviews between cooperating agents to qualify agent quality. Through a network for agents and brokers, their mission is to identify and promote great agents by their demonstrated commitment to skill, knowledge, and professionalism. Consumers are able to research an agent’s repubility to select trustworthy agents.

The company has been able to make over 6 million connections through its 125,000 users.

Why I wake up in the morning excited: “As a real estate agent, I can fully dedicate myself to three clients at any given time, but as a proptech founder I can protect hundreds of thousands of consumers simultaneously while also supporting agents who demonstrate professionalism and put their clients’ interests first.”

What we like: While many talk about raising the bar, Peer Reputation is doing something about it by serving what they deem to be Reputable Agents to homebuyers and eliminating the ability for agents to “buy” their way in. Negative feedback is sent to brokerages for them to use it as constructive criticism to help agents.
