Geek Estate Blog / Comment Policy Is Posted
In my post a few days ago resulting from a spammer annoying me, I said I’d have a comment policy posted by the end of the week. I didn’t want to disappoint, so here it is — Blog / Comment Policy for Geek Estate Blog (also accessible via the header link).
If you have feedback or suggested changes to the policy, please leave them on this post and I’ll update the policy as I see fit.
Note: Thank you to Jay Thompson for letting me use his policy as an outline for Geek Estate’s policy.

I agree with everything you've written and I can commiserate with the problem on spam (about 90% of the comments I receive are spam) the one thing when using Disqus is that people are able to set up their profiles for SEO keywords. I believe that on Disqus, if you change your settings if effects all your previous comments as well. Just an FYI as I know my name comes up as a keyword, I don't want to be running afoul of your comment policy unintentionally.
Best of luck keeping the spammers out-staying no-follow seems to do the biggest part of it, but every blog with high PR runs into the same issues unfortunately.
