As I mentioned this weekend, Realius’ new Price Me Now was shown off at TechCrunch40 on Monday. They were ranked a 2.2 out of 4 in their “demopit” as part of TechCrunch40, though I think that’s a bit low (but to be fair, I didn’t see the other companies). I thought I’d give a little bit better overview with some visuals of the Price Me Now fantasy game, which is now available in private BETA. There are 6 (5 not counting TechCrunch) markets to choose from if you want to play, though I’m sure there are more in development.

When you can click into any of the 6 markets, here’s the interface of Realius’ Price Me Now (click below for larger view). The full listing details from local IDX feeds are integrated so that the user can scroll through the property details, photos, look at a Google map, and browse through recently sold homes in the area as a way to do research prior to submitting an estimated price using the slider at the bottom of the page.

Here’s an example of the scoring module you are shown after pricing a home — as you can tell, I was pretty far off the mark with this home. Guesses are scored based on the Realius price (in yellow), which is a combination of the list price and the average price of other guesses submitted on that property.

I certainly love the long term prospects of the Realius platform. I can imagine real estate junkies logging into Realius on a daily basis to get their “fix” for the day by guessing prices of 20 homes on the market with Price Me Now and adding several homes to their fantasy real estate portfolio within Major League Investor.

Of course, there is a leader board to highlight those with the best scores — I wonder which real estate bloggers are going to emerge victorious in the friendly competition that will surely occur? My bosses’ boss, Zillow CFO & VP of Marketing Spencer Rascoff, might be able to give everyone a run for their money (see his comment on this post for proof of his passion for fantasy real estate).

Realius is expected to fully launch in 6-8 weeks. And just an FYI – if you’d like review Realius, you can do so on their CrunchBase profile.
