In our latest real estate tech interview, I’m talking to Bryan Garcia, the general manager of Ubertor.

Without wasting anymore time, here’s a bit from Bryan…

What do you do?

To keep things simple, I help Realtors all over the world build beautiful, easy to use websites for their Real Estate business. Day in, and day out, I’m the General Manager of Ubertor.com – a CMS built and tailored to provide Realtors and business owners tools that empower them to creatively and easily market their business online.

Why do you do what you do?

To pave the road map for Realtors who are scared of technology and don’t know where to start. Nothing beats helping someone that is scared of technology, and seeing their reaction when they see how easy things can be. I remember helping a Realtor a few years back that did not believe in social media and the impact it could have on one’s business. To cut a long story short, I convinced the Realtor to integrate social media into their online marketing plan, and a few weeks later they received a solid lead that converted into a sale, from one of their social media channels. The Realtor was ecstatic, and very thankful – it was a “win” for all parties involved – this is why I do what I do.

What are you most excited about right now?

The Ubertor team is working on a few new things behind the scenes that we hope to roll out very soon to our users. I can’t disclose specifically what we’re working on, but let’s just say it’s going to improve the overall user experience, and hopefully our users will think of it as an early Christmas gift 🙂

What’s next for you?

After we complete what we have planned before 2014 (the behind the scenes “stuff” I mentioned above), our team will work on bringing Ubertor to cities where Realtors don’t have a simple solution to market their properties online.

What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?

Anything related to beating breast cancer for good. A close family member was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago, and it was a terrible experience to go through. I have the utmost respect for anyone that has had to deal with cancer in any kind of way. It takes a lot of strength mentally and physically to fight the disease.
