Local Real Estate Market Conditions — with Video
I’ve long thought (known) there is opportunity for brokerages to be the local market expert with the media (I wrote that post over 4 years ago in 2011).
I agree with Brian — Pacific Union’s Market Pulse video is a smart approach to delivering local real estate market conditions.
Here’s an example:
Is your brokerage investing in video in 2015? If not, I advise you strongly consider it.

Posted at 13:43h, 17 JulyThe video quality is awesome, obviously professional.
I was not sure I followed the connection between what is being shown on the video vs. what is being said. In other words, I would have expected them to be talking about this beautiful location and the benefits of living there, not dry and some what boring market stats.
For a market stat video, I might expect some charts and graphs showing what the voice is talking about while he talks about it.
Just my two cents, nothing is perfect, and this is certainly a well done video.
I do a lot of screen casting videos, and we also provide market stat updates twice per month, but we do not have a professional video of the neighborhoods.

Posted at 10:43h, 18 JulyExcellent question, I checked into this and my local university students wanted to charge I think around $1,000 to do it. I would also like to know how much this one cost to produce.
One option for those on a low budget would be to use photos and pan around them or zoom in and out, but that is not as nice as this video.
One could throw in some charts though, backing up the numbers they are talking about, which might make it even more interesting.
