Meet the Real Estate Tech Entrepreneur: Hillel Cooperman
In our latest real estate tech interview, I’m talking to Hillel Cooperman, with Jackson Fish Market (creator of Slide Bureau).
Without further adieu, here’s a bit more from his own mouth…
What do you do?
I’m the co-founder of Jackson Fish Market, a small Seattle-based software startup. Our latest creation – Slide Bureau – helps Real Estate professionals create polished, gorgeously designed, marketing presentations.
Why do You Do What you Do?
I love designing hand-crafted, meaningful experiences. This includes helping people express themselves creatively by giving them high quality software they can use to author their own content.
What are you most excited about right now?
Jackson Fish Market, makers of Slide Bureau, were recently selected as one of the top 16 Emerging Technology Companies in Real Estate, by Realogy. We’ll be heading to the RealogyFWD innovation summit later this month and we’re excited to show our product off and to also see what’s new in the real estate tech industry.
What’s next for you?
As long as it takes to bring a new product to market, that’s really only the first baby stop. Now that Slide Bureau is in customers’ hands we’ve been spending a lot of time asking people how they use the tool. We’re excited to be implementing new features that our customers have been asking for as well as polishing existing features to really meet their needs. It’s been exciting to see the evolution of the tool up to this point and we’re looking forward to continued collaboration with our enthusiastic customer base.
What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?
A cause I am passionate about is architecture. I own a 1909 Ellsworth Storey house that I’m currently restoring room-by-room to much of it’s original state. This means using the the original plans from the UW Architecture Library archives to rebuild all of the previously removed built-in furniture. There is something so special about the attention to detail found in turn of the century homes and in this day and age of the cookie-cutter experience, I find there is a real depth and texture to experiencing things as they were originally intended to be seen.
Thanks to Hillel for sharing his motivations and current projects. If you’re interested in connecting with him further, you can find him on LinkedIn and Oh Hey World.
We’ll be featuring other real estate tech entrepreneurs in the coming weeks. If you are an entrepreneur in the real estate vertical (past or present), and want to be profiled, please follow the steps outlined here. Remember, you can always discover other people in the Geek Estate community here.

Posted at 08:22h, 04 JuneHillel, how does one see a demo of Slide Bureau? I don’t see that option from your Website.
Does it work with anything other than the iPad for designing the slides. My family has had 4 iPads, they all broke eventually, and now we have switched to Android and don’t use Apple any more.
I would actually prefer to design it on my Desktop in my browser.
