In our latest real estate tech interview, I’m talking to Andrew Gale of FlyerCo.com.

Without further adieu, here’s a bit more from his own mouth…

What do you do?

I’m the founder of http://FlyerCo.com which allows real estate agents to create professional real estate flyers with zero effort. Were a very small team (2 people + investor) so on any given day I can be doing a number of things from SEO/Growth Hacking to figuring out the best UI/UX layout for our product.

Why do You Do What you Do?

I used to be an agent and when I started, I always had the best flyers but, that was because I knew Photoshop really well. I also knew where to look for talented designers to hire if I needed them. There is a lot of mediocre graphic designers out there and if you don’t know the proper places to look like Dribbble and Behance, you can end up with a pretty bad looking flyer that you paid good money for.

But that’s not the main reason why I’m working on this startup. I’m working on this startup because I’m passionate about startups. I love being able to take an idea and turn it into a reality. I’ve been working on different startups for the past 4 years and I can’t see myself doing anything else, ever. I’m in it for the long haul and I believe we can take FlyerCo to a level none of our competitors can even fathom right now.

What are you most excited about right now?

Tech in general. I read somewhere that in the next 100 years were supposed to be moving forward in technology more then we did in the last 1000. To me that’s really exciting. Technology is making it easier and easier for entrepreneurs of all types to popup and release their product into the world. I love seeing that and being apart of that. I think in 20 years programming will be even more simplified then it is today and big disruptions will be possible by single individuals.

What’s next for you?

FlyerCo is it. My vision for FlyerCo is to completely innovate the whole flyer process from the ground up. The way a flyer acts online is completely different then it should be offline. I want to see how far we can push the limits of what a flyer can be but, first we have to focus on our initial launch and giving people the ability to create a beautiful flyer without any effort.

What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?

Getting people to follow their dreams and get on the path they should’ve been on years ago. With entrepreneurship for example, I talk to a lot of people and they think it’s something only a few people can do or takes some serious business skills and I don’t think that’s true at all. We see all the time on shows like Shark Tank where mothers created a product for their children and end up selling millions or even the children creating some product and selling millions. You don’t have to be a Steve Jobs or Elon Musk. You just have to want to create something and move forward with it. Entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone but, whatever your dream is go for it. The saddest thing in the world is when you meet someone who knew exactly what they wanted to do and gave up because of this or that.
