Meet the Real Estate Tech Entrepreneur: Michael Neef
In our latest real estate tech interview, I’m talking to Michael Neef, founder of Pre Approve Me.
Without further adieu, here’s a bit more from his own mouth…
What do you do?
Pre Approve Me is making the home loan process fun, convenient and easier than ever before. Using mobile technology to bridge the educational gaps that come with a home buyers clarity of price (qualified purchase price) and Process (where your loan is in the process).
Why do You Do What you Do?
Because buying a home should not be feared or unknown. Owning a home has always been the “American Dream”. The Problem is that, over the last 7 years, the process of buying has become the nightmare variety of dream.
What are you most excited about right now?
I’m excited about our next release, which are are just planning now, which will allow for home owners to determine with relative accuracy if they will qualify to buy. And also about connecting the right home buyers to the right professionals to guide their process.
What’s next for you?
Right now our technology is primarily driven by the loan officer or Realtor who invites a home buyer to use the app. We are very excited to allow for home buyers to enroll without being attached to a professional, then connecting the professional when the future home owner is ready.
What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?
I am very passionate about alternative education and bringing more awareness to young people about career paths and goals.
Thanks to Michael for sharing his motivations and current projects. If you’re interested in connecting with him further, you can find him on LinkedIn and Oh Hey World.
We’ll be featuring other real estate tech entrepreneurs in the coming weeks. If you are an entrepreneur in the real estate vertical (past or present), and want to be profiled, please follow the steps outlined here. Remember, you can always discover other people in the Geek Estate community here.
