blueroof360In our latest Meet the Real Estate Tech Entrepreneur interview, we’re speaking with Greg Tracy of BlueRoof360. I’ve known Greg for quite some time since we were both somewhat early bloggers in the industry, and he’s a classic example of someone who puts his head down, executes, and doesn’t partake in the social media scene (likely because he realizes that time spent doesn’t help his bottom line). He stays focused on selling real estate and building great products for his clients.

Here’s a bit more about him, from his own mouth…

What do you do?

I’m in real estate. I’ve been a broker/owner/agent/instructor for over twenty years and I continue to sell real estate now. I’m also the President and Co-founder of BlueRoof360, a technology and services company that provides innovative and beautiful systems for brokers and agents.

Why do you do what you do?

Being in a position that allows me to help create and shape the future of the real estate industry is something that really excites me. We create systems that help brokers recruit and retain agents because those are tools I’ve needed and used. And we create tools and systems that help agents get business, manage their business, and have a life outside of business because those are the tools that I need.

I’m in a unique position to be able to want or need a new technology and be able to create it for myself, and then offer it to other brokers or agents.

What are you most excited about right now?

This is a really cool time to be in real estate and I’m excited about taking it all mobile. Not just search- search will always be important, but I’m talking about running my real estate business completely from my phone. That is exciting to me and it’s time to make it happen.

What’s next for you?

We are about to launch blueQub in July, which is our utility platform for agents. It will allow them to run their businesses from their phones. It has an app (iOS or Droid) and a desktop piece and it snyc between them and does some pretty cool stuff. It has a great contact management system and search, but it doesn’t stop there. It creates showing routes, tracks your mileage, gives you transaction dashboards, has after-call prompting, file sharing and more.

What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?

I recently got engaged and just closed on my own home this month and right now my fiance and I are on cloud 9 together and, along with my kids, I’m just passionate about my future and living this life to the fullest. It’s such a cliche, but it really is what I’m most passionate about right now. And the Colts – Go Colts!
