Meet the Real Estate Tech Founder: Atticus LeBlanc from PadSplit
In our latest real estate tech entrepreneur interview, we’re speaking with Atticus LeBlanc from Padsplit.
Without further ado…
Who are you and what do you do?
Atticus LeBlanc, CEO of PadSplit, a co-living company serving low-income populations. We re-purpose existing housing stock by enabling landlords to convert standard single-family homes into properties optimized for “by-the-room” rentals.
What problem does your product/service solve?
We’ve created a privatized affordable housing model to make life simpler and more affordable for people who need it while also being more profitable for property owners… so they’ll actually create more housing.
What are you most excited about right now?
Building an outstanding team.
What’s next for you?
We are always iterating on the operations side, but we’re ready to explore new markets, and we’re hopeful to get 1,000 units this year.
What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?
My family first and foremost, I have four boys that keep me on my toes and are my primary focus aside from work. But I have lots of other causes I’m passionate about: Education, food security, immigration, local community building, and just getting government to work more efficiently.
