NewCondosOnline.com Teams with StudioNow for Video
StudioNow has teamed with NewCondosOnline.com to create & deliver video content with their network of video professionals for condo listings and developments advertised on NewCondosOnline. From the press release:
StudioNow, the premier online video creation platform, today announced it will provide high-quality video marketing and advertising solutions to developers of new and pre-construction condominium, townhome and loft properties worldwide through NewCondosOnline.com.
Under an agreement announced today with NewCondosOnline.com, StudioNow will make available the creative talent of its global network of thousands of video professionals and its proprietary online content management platform to shoot, edit and create original video content for featured property listings throughout the site. The new partnership aims to deliver a richer online viewing experience for all users by leveraging the power of video to assist in the condo purchase decision and accelerate the sales momentum of new properties.
It looks like WellcomeMat and TurnHere have some competition in the race to build the largest community of freelance video producers and editors. I think landing distribution partners such as NewCondosOnline.com is an important piece of building critical mass in this space.

Posted at 20:15h, 07 OctoberIs having the most videographers really the most sought-after prize in real estate video these days?
I’ve always thought that the big prize should be providing an effective means to actually sell real estate and getting video content in front of likely buyers. Does having an army of videographers help towards that goal in any way? Likely not….especially when few of these companies actually control their vertical from end to end in terms of customer service, production standards, distribution, billing, and marketing.
Then again, keeping the focus on the “metric of least resistance” means not having to worry about those pesky things like video views or quality leads generated. To expand the line from Star Wars, “these aren’t the video metrics that you are looking for…”
Sigh.

For sellers (agents and owners), I agree that high quality video content that helps sell real estate is the grand prize. But for a company like StudioNow, they need a large team of videographers in order to be a really compelling option for those looking for help with video creation. If you go to their site and don’t find any videographers in your area, how useful is the site for you?
