Building Local Lifestyle Communities
I see a massive opportunity for brokerages to turn their past (& future) clients into lifestyle communities. Narrow your search, and build a community for those who live that particular lifestyle.
This goes back to one of the dynamics behind my absurd idea — community building. Make being a client of Brokerage X mean something special. Give your clients VIP treatment — based on their lifestyle. Make sure they have a trusted place to find the latest happenings in the community, specific to their interests.
Note: Just because you have an email list of past clients & send updates to them every now and then, doesn’t make it a “community”.
Why so few in this industry are using community building as a strategy, I have no clue.
If you know of any brokerages taking this approach, by all means, please leave a note in the comments or email me a link to their site.
