Guest Posting

Very simply, guest posting is writing a blog post and publishing it on someone else’s blog rather than your own.

Why guest post from a guest author perspective? A few reasons. SEO link backs to your site are the most commonly mentioned benefit to guest posting. Two other benefits are access to an entirely new audience you don’t reach otherwise, and allowing you to write about different subjects without taking your local blog off topic.

Why do it from publisher perspective? Content is hard work. Guest posts allows a blog to add more content without writing every last piece of that content.

Guest posting is a vastly under utilized SEO tactic in the real estate vertical.

Blog Commenting

There is already an entire module devoted to blog commenting as part of your marketing strategy. From an SEO perspective, the important thing to note is that the more links back to your site, the better — even if they are “nofollow” links.

Niche Blogs

Building niche blogs is a great way to build SEO juice outside of the real estate vertical and direct some of that back to your own hyper local blog in order to help it rank for your desired keyword(s).

.GOV/.EDU Links

.GOV and .EDU links are like gold when it comes to links. Remember, all links are not creating equal.
