Reesio rectangle-logoGiven I write a fair amount about real estate technology and am currently in San Francisco, attending the RealTech SF 2013 at the Fairmont Hotel yesterday was a no brainer. There were 300 people in attendance (my best guess), a great speaker lineup, and a constant, lively discussion at the Startup Alley every time I walked by. I had a chance to speak with Mark and Uyen (two of the four co-founders of Reesio) and learn a little bit more about their product, speak with Steve Pacinelli, meet Drew Uher (cool name, right?) at HomeLight, and say hi to Joel Burslem at 1000Watt and Greg Robertson (neither whom I had seen in quite awhile).

What impressed me most was certainly the fact that a company that launched a mere 5 months ago pulled off a conference like RealTech SF so early in their existence. To me, that shows sheer scrappiness and speaks volumes about the commitment of their team. After multiple years in existence, most real estate tech companies still haven’t pulled off an event with 300+ people.
