If you haven’t already, I would highly recommend instalingl the wordpress automatic upgrade plugin and upgrading your wordpress blog. After all, there is no need to risk having your blog hacked. And NOW upgrading is easy and does not require you to upload the latest files via FTP or manually upgrade your database.

I just upgraded the CoRE, Zillow Blog, and Geek Estate Blog to the latest edition of wordpress — and it took me all of 15 minutes with minimal problems. Some plug ins, such as the popularity plugin that was installed on this blog, aren’t compatible with the new version of WP — luckily, that was my least favorite plug in anyway, so I had no problem removing it. The other really cool feature of the plug in is that it has a feature that will enable you to automatically upgrade other plug ins to the latest edition without using FTP.
