Top 10 Brokerage Sites in America
Marc and Brian at 1000watt Consulting put together a list of the top 10 brokerage sites that’s worth taking a look at, particularly if you’re an agent or brokerage looking to improve your web site. I agree with them when they say that consumers (primarily) want three things:
1. Listings
2. Home value and market information (recent solds, median prices)
3. Neighborhood information (e.g., school reports, crime data)
If you agree with points 2 and 3 (which I do), here’s a resource Zillow (my employer) has put together pointing to free data sources for neighborhood and city home value information, school data, and other neighborhood information.
Congrats to those brokerages that made the list!

Consumers are definitely interested in real estate listings first along with tracking the neighborhood they are interested in. There are some good sites on the list and a lot of great sites out there that are not on the list.
Thanks for the resources Drew!
