Zillow Premier Agent Forum
You gotta hand it to them…job well done. The fact that 1,000 agents showed up speaks volumes. That’s an event about the size of Inman Connect (I honestly have no idea what Inman attendance has been over the past few years, but I heard 1,000 or 1,200 a couple years ago somewhere).

It was pretty amazing because he pays on average $185 per lead from Zillow, yet he makes $20K+ per month on those leads.
For me personally I am not ready to sign up for Zillow at $185 per lead, but I learned a lot about good lead follow-up. When a lead costs you $185, you can’t afford not to have great follow-up procedures in place.
My feelings for Zillow itself are mixed.
I am always pro-consumer, and while consumers like their Website, a lot of the data they show is stale. The Zillow expert they interviewed said many of the leads he gets are for properties not available anymore, so he converts that lead to using his website, which has up to date information.
So from a consumer stand point while the site is nice and has nice features, if you are looking at listing information that is not accurate that is an issue.
