There are a lot of keyword research tools out there, but Google Insights is not one that doesn’t get much love. Which is strange to me since I feel it is one of the most powerful real estate keyword tools around.

The thing I like is that you can add multiple keywords and not only see the difference in search volume, but the trend in search volume over time. This allows you to pick up on keywords that may be growing in traffic but aren’t as competitive as established keywords for your niche. This is a great way to target low cost of entry terms.

You can also search across different locations and Google’s different search engines (like Google Images).

This shouldn’t be the only keyword tool you use, but definitely a great one to have in your arsenal.
