In our latest real estate tech entrepreneur interview, we’re speaking with the founder Scott Hammack of Truepad. I wrote about the Chicago portal recently, and am a fan of their focus on a real buyer value proposition.

Without further ado…

What do you do?

I build great teams and then provide strategic direction. My motto is “A leader doesn’t build a business. A leader builds a team that builds a business”

What problem does your product/service solve?

Truepad is the next generation search engine for real estate, featuring in-depth, unbiased reviews by top agents. We use crowd-sourced data to identify the best valued houses in each neighborhood.

What are you most excited about right now?

I think we are very close to creating a cost neutral way of generating the rating information we need to provide for a very useful consumer experience with a noticeable differentiator.

What’s next for you?

Just trying to solve one problem in a row..

What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?

I am concerned about the current wealth inequity in the world and the consequences associated with it based on plenty of historical facts.
