Position Overview:

As an Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR), you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and shaping the strategic direction of their PropTech consulting company. You will work closely with their executive team and clients to identify emerging trends, develop new business opportunities, and incubate disruptive solutions that address the evolving needs of the real estate ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Innovation: Lead the ideation, development, and execution of innovative PropTech solutions that leverage emerging technologies such as AI, virtual reality, digital twins, and data analytics.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and untapped growth opportunities.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with their sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances with key players in the real estate industry.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their pain points, challenges, and strategic objectives and provide tailored PropTech solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Thought Leadership: Establish yourself as a thought leader in the PropTech space by contributing to industry publications, speaking at conferences, and participating in networking events.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of entrepreneurial success, including experience founding or leading a startup in the PropTech, real estate, or related industries.
  • Deep understanding of the real estate market, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively, solve problems, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
