In our latest real estate tech entrepreneur interview, we’re speaking with Mikus Opelts from Giraffe 360.

Without further ado…

Who are you and what do you do?

I’m the CEO and co-founder of Giraffe360, a proptech company that’s elevating how people view and purchase properties online so agents can market their properties vividly, accurately and with minimal effort. My background is in photography and editing, so I helped to develop the technology, and now as CEO I oversee the company’s growth and operations.

What problem does your product/service solve?

High-quality, true-to-life visuals are critical to the home buying and selling process, so we put technology into the hands of agents and give them the power to create visuals such as virtual tours, floor plans, photographs and videos to list properties in a way that saves them money, time and effort.

Using AI and robotics technology, agents don’t need technical knowledge to capture high quality listing assets. They capture, we edit, and they’re ready to list.

What are you most excited about right now?

Seeing how our technology helps agents to transform the real estate industry and elevate the market. We have been developing AI for real estate for almost a decade, so now content creation that historically took a couple of days now can take just a couple of hours with our automations.

To make our service as effective as it is, we designed 50+ machine learning models. I expect these technologies to continue to advance and I’m looking forward to seeing how this continues to improve the real estate process for agents, buyers and sellers.

What’s next for you?

Our goal is ultimately to have the best real estate camera in the world, and we don’t plan to stop.

We’ll continue to upgrade our hardware and software with features that allow agents to thrive, making sure they’re one stop ahead of the competition.
