This is somewhat old news now (announcement was July 1st), but I thought I’d briefly mention the fact that Zillow won the MSN deal that was opened up when Realtor.com decided to abandon the strategy of partnering with portals (which I covered here).

A win for Zillow. A loss for Trulia.

Side note, take a quick look at the integration on MSN Real Estate:

I get this deal was likely put together & implemented fairly quickly, but the design work done by MSN is about as bad as it gets. They didn’t even bother ensuring the Zillow logo was well integrated into the search module. The whole landing page is a big eye sore in desperate need of a redesign. And stripped of at least 25% of what’s on the page. But, maybe that’s just me.
