Zopim Live Chat for Lead Generation
I’m starting to hear more and more people in the real estate industry talk and ask questions about Zopim, a company specializing in integrated live chat software for use on websites.
Who’s using it, and is it generating leads for you?

Posted at 20:24h, 24 AugustThanks for asking the question. I’ve been wondering about using this or maybe Hello bar. I did read some complaints about Zopim slowing down WP sites. Has anyone experienced this?

Posted at 07:17h, 25 AugustHi Geordie, thanks for sharing your concern. Zopim doesn’t slow down websites at all as the chat widget waits til your website is completed loaded before it runs. It’s a pretty new and cool improvement we made recently and we never got any slow loading complaints ever since 🙂

Posted at 19:10h, 28 AugustDoes Zopim has the following features:
1. Ability to co-browse? Can I ‘push’ a visitor to a specific page (not provide a link, actually push their browser to a page) so the agent/rep can browse property with the end-user?
2. Google Maps integration. Can I see exactly where the user is connecting (down to cross-street) from and label their IP. If I talk to ‘Greg’ can I save ‘Greg’ to his IP so when he comes back, I know it’s Greg from Seattle and not XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX from Seattle?
Two features to consider.

Posted at 05:07h, 12 SeptemberHi there,
1. We don’t have co-browsing now but we are happy to consider building it into a product if it’s something that agents really need. If you have a specific use case to share, that will help us better understand the value of co-browsing.
2. There’s 2 ways of recognizing a returning user. You can ‘remember’ someone so if they come back again using the same computer you can recognize them. You can also tag someone from a specific IP with a given name using our “Triggers” system. The former way is easier but it’s entirely up to you and what you have in mind.
Does this help?

Posted at 07:30h, 25 AugustHi Drew, glad we’re on your radar! We’re trying to do more outreach in the real estate space and one of our users Gary Ashton from Nashville just talked to Chris at TechSavvyAgent. Watch out for the upcoming video interview 🙂
And thanks for initiating the discussion – I’m also hoping to reach out to more of our real estate users, hoping to get their insights. Appreciate any feedback I can get.

Posted at 07:32h, 25 AugustNo problem – our clients are starting to ask about your product, which is a good sign for you.
Small correction – Chris is now working for Inman (not techsavvyagent anymore).

Posted at 14:41h, 25 AugustI’ve tested SnapEngage for about a month, I received 4 prospects from it in the time I was using it. Gonna test Zopim and see how it works.
Pretty good concept, and the questions from visitors go directly to your cell phone. I had to pull over on the side of the road one day to have a quick conversation with a customer about a property, way cool.

Posted at 16:01h, 26 AugustWe just initiated Zopim on our Elmhurst, IL real estate site. It has generated conversations and a few leads…wither way we benefit from the instant chat that we may have otherwise missed. Gracik Makinney Real Estate Group. http://www.mariaandtom.com

Posted at 12:45h, 05 FebruaryNo doubt Live Chat is a great tool when it comes to generating leads. During the past year I have tried numerous Live Chat solutions and the results have been positive. It is specially helpful when it comes to identifying potential valuable customers.
Regarding Zopim, I used it for a while and, even though it is a great provider with a lot of years of experience in the sector, I think that its extra features offer is a bit basic. I would recommend to have a look to the one I am using right now https://visitlead.com/alternative/zopim/
