Jay Thompson Talks GEB NAR Las Vegas ’07

I’m very excited to be back editing helm of GeekEstate Blog. When Drew asked me to partner with him, it was an easy decision. GEB has been a “go-to” resource for real estate industry professionals and the vendors that provide technology services to them. We’re ready to take it to a new level.

Drew is now putting his full time effort in his start-up endeavor Oh Hey World. If you haven’t checked it out, you should. He might even send you an early beta invite. It’s a cool idea and I have no doubt he’ll get it off the ground.

As for myself, I’ve spent my time as a consultant and freelancer for the last couple of years. I’m enjoying work on diverse projects a few of which have kept me within the pulse of the real estate vertical.

Drew and I have discussed at length and created an outline for the future of GeekEstate. To keep it succinct, our goal is to establish the web’s number one INDEPENDENT platform for real estate technology and marketing. Start-ups to large public companies, individual agents to international brokerages and more can continue to turn to the GEB platform as useful resource.

In the near future I’ll be reaching out to our current contributors. If you’re an industry professional, start-up or represent a current industry resource, please reach out and let me know what you would like to see in GEB going forward. I’m open to creative business development and content ideas. I’ll be back at the blog posting helm soon as well. If you’ve got a story idea, let me know.

I’d like to personally thank everyone that has subscribed to or contributed to GEB over the years and look forward to many, many more!

Cheers, Mike Price – Managing Editor – GeekEstate Blog
