Innovate for Consumer Mortgage Experience–Not Lead Generation

by Sam DeBord on 11:30 am December 7, 2015

Google announced a new mortgage shopping product in late November. Partly powered by Zillow, it’s an advertising tool for lenders and a product comparison tool for consumers. Zillow already has the products, interest rates, and reviews of nationwide lenders across its mortgage shopping system. It makes perfect sense to integrate these into Google search results more seamlessly, reducing the number of clicks users must make to find the mortgage answer they’re looking for. There’s a lot of money flowing into those companies, as they continue … Read More »

by Seth Price on 5:27 am February 17, 2012

Redesigning your website is no small endeavor. Most likely you’re redesigning it because it’s not as effective as it should be. When clients describe their existing websites to me, they are often embarrassed and don’t want me to look at their old site. It’s almost as if they’re happy no one visits it. While I hope this isn’t the case with your site, the fact is a lot of people are struggling to get their businesses noticed because of bad websites. Your real estate website … Read More »

Understanding Google's May Day Update

by Justin Britt on 5:28 pm August 4, 2010

Well, I know it’s been awhile since Google’s May Day update that occurred somewhere between Aug 28 and May 3. But understanding Google’s algorithm changes takes testing, research, and more testing—which takes time. Before I get started, it’s important to understand why the May Day update caused such an uproar in the SEO world. With Google pushing out 1+ algorithm changes a day, why spend so much time understanding the May Day update? Because this one update was responsible for traffic losses not seen since … Read More »

How Are You Using the iPad for Real Estate?

by James Shiner on 2:17 pm May 3, 2010

The iPad 3G came out last week and a few people I know were waiting to buy until the 3G version came out. I assume this was the case for many buyers. Of course the 3G model has a $14.99 per month service fee for 250MB of data transfer or $29.99 for unlimited transfer. Whats nice though is there is no service contract: “Best of all, there’s no contract. So if you have a business trip or vacation approaching, just sign up for the month … Read More »
